ISHRM is the pioneer in Competency-Based Training in the region when it first introduced this approach in 2006. We have produced competent graduates assessed and certified in National Certificate level II in Food and Beverage, Bartending, Cookery, Bread and Pastry, Front Office and Housekeeping. Other qualifications embedded in the program are Travel and Tour Promotions and Services, Tour Guiding and Barista, They are now employed locally and abroad!

Our program does not only focus on entry level competencies but in supervisory and managerial levels as well with courses in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Social Sciences, Events Management and a wide range of Electives. General Education courses are also focused to improving people skills, values, culture and arts appreciation and character building.

This 2018, with the introduction of our new curriculum, BSHM will be embedded with Certificates III, IV, and Diploma in Restaurant and Hotel Services and Management. The program will also use the Outcome-Based Approach (OBE) in all its courses and shall incorporate the ASEAN Toolbox in Hospitality and Tourism.
